Bongs - General glass/acrylic Bong care

Swim uses his acrylic bong about 4-6 times a month usually one hit then swim is done.
Swim then poor out the water and put the bong away, but there is always some minute rests of water. How would swiy replace the water in the bong? and how often do swiy clean the bowl?

On a sidenote, swim ate some beef jerky the other day and a little anti humidifier falled out of the bag.. is this something swim could put in a bong? something to absorb the moisture?

Or should swim easily just keep the water in the bong then replace it when it gets old?
