Combinations - THH (an RIMA) + LSD... thoughts?

SWIM's been pondering as of late...

Hypothetically speaking... If one were to combine THH, (tetra-hydro-harmine) with a dose of LSD... would the THH potentiate the LSD?? Or is this *specific* type of combo generally one to be avoided?

SWIM is quite aware of MAOI action, and the inherent risks involved. Yet THH is a beta-carboline, and moreover an RIMA which has also been shown to show some serotogenic action as well, (if he recalls correctly).

SWIM's used TFSE the web over & found near zilch on such information, or any reports of this specific combination.

Anyone try this before??

Any of you pharmacology experts have any speculative info they'd be willing to share?

Any information, (even speculative) would be greatly appreciated.

LSD is supposed to be a safe mixture with Short Acting MAO-Is. While it doesn't make sense from a neurochemical stand point, Pendell says there does seem to be potentiation, though he was citing Syrian Rue.

Not too off topic, but before anyone jumps to bad ideas, LSA is NOT to be mixed with MAO-Is as the vaso-constriction becomes more pronounced and this can lead to limb loss due to gangrene.

What do you folks out there think of a crude, (alcohol) cacti extract in combination with THH?

I know this "flips the script" on this thread quite a bit, as cacti contain a totally different type of psychedelic compound than that of LSD... so please forgive my ignorance if this is a big no-no... (I just didn't want to start a new thread if it would only cull a couple replies).

AND...

I gotta keep my pen-pal buddy in Portugal from doing anything unsafe, (and from what he wrote me in his last letter) potentiation of cacti thru the use of THH is his next idea.

I've read some accounts of others' passed down by SWI69Ron, (quite the pioneer) on this combo, but have yet to read much else on this particular subject... (or anything much at all on THH, for that matter, here or elsewhere).

Anyone else have any experiences / speculations or info they'd care to share as of late?

The theoretical pharmacological action of these substances is *fascinating* to me... and, (as stated prior) I want to pass it along to my pen-pal in Portugal to keep him from doing anything stupid... (the knucklehead has no internet access!) So once again, here I am doing the research for him.
