Where is Ketamine legal/available?
I know it's pretty available in Mexico. I've heard K is actually
legal in some countries and that it's pretty available in some others, like Russia where I hear it's quasi-legal. Anyone know where else? I'm especially interested in whether it might be available in Amsterdam. Thanks- - B |

Had no trouble finding K in Mexio, tho from "Vets," not pharmcies. Never thought of looking for a contact to ship it. How do they ship it to you? In what form? What's the risk level in your opinion? Thanks- - B |

In Aus it’s legal for Vet’s to have, don’t know about US. So either u find a hookup from a VET or you rob a VET... Maybe even an equestrian VET, since it’s for horses.... |

It's not just for horses, it's a veterinary tranq. It's often used on cats for example.
Also, it's used the 3rd world over on humans b/c it's so safe and effective. BTW, it's approved for human use even in the U.S. tho mostly on children and old people. - B |

Actually, when I was in mexico there WAS a brand that was slightly
stronger called Dopalen. It also had the coolest looking bottle IMO. This is not a joke. Dopalen, according to the lable, was about 11% stronger than the other stuff-- not that I really noticed the difference. My friend and I remarked that this much be specifically to gain market share w/ recreational users since ALL other K is standardized dosage and who cares if it's 11% stronger when you're operating no a cat. The only people who would care, would be recreational users. - B |

I would say 95% of US vets keep this in stock at all times. K is NOT just for horses, in fact not long ago it was used on humans, and even less time has passed since they stopped using it for children. Vets typically make something called 'K-Val' injections for surgeries. It's a mixture of ketamine and valium, and is safely used on dogs, cats, and farm animals for most procedures. There are other drugs and drug combinations they use, but ketamine is still very common. If you have a dog or a cat that has been spayed or neutered, I'm 99.9% sure they used ketamine as the tranquilizer. |

Sched. I and II are "very high ratings" for a controlled substance. Sched III is the lowest schedule rating for anything fun. Quote:
K is used on old people and children to this day, I believe even in the U.S. It's used all over 3rd world countries and the anasthetic of choice as it's really easy to use. The amount it takes to be dangerous is SO much higher than the amount needed to knock a patient out- this is why it's so safe and used on humans in places where the doctors are thought to not have the same level of training as "first world" doctors. |

Didn't they just changed K's scheduling rating in the US?

I have friend that moved to Cancun about a year ago. You can't just buy ketamine over the counter at a pharmacy, I don't even think they carry it at pharmacias. He had to find a vet that was willing to sell it to him on the side. You're not supposed to be able to send liquids through the mail from Mexico to the US, so he had to reduce it to powder(ceramic plate on top of a pot of boiling water is the best way to evaporate out the solvent since water boils at 100 degrees Celcius which is low enough not to burn the K). He sent the powder in regular mail and it never arrived though I was able to send him a small amount of tina from the US but it took weeks to arrive. I have read that it is much better, safer, and more reliable to send things registered mail instead. |

Best place anywhere in Mexico is always a pharmacy and not a drugstore/pharmacy. Should be easy to make into powder as, if you have the time, a day in the hot sun should do it. SWIM did it by setting some liquid K in a CD case that sat on top of a door abot 6 inches below a regular light bulb. Slow, but less than one day. As for shipping home liquides, SWIM was thinking it would be fun to send home a tequila samplaer sometime w/ some special editions ![]() - B *<!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> |

As said, Ketamine is schedule III drug in the US. SWIM has relations to a vet, and it is commonly used on pretty much every animal, from dogs and cats to horses and reptiles. It's not usually used on humans, although SWIM's doctor does use it on some people. It is usually not used on humans because of it's long term effects (olney's lesions), and because people will often be scared by the effects they get after they wake up from surgery, which, because of the stress, are usually extremely frightening visuals and feelings in general and they often need to be restrained.
Converting K from liquid to powder is very simple. SWIM did it by GENTLY boiling off the solution on a stovetop in a pot and then scraping the solution off the bottom. |

'Olney's lesions' is a myth according to Karl Jansen-- anyway, who has operations habitually? Note that William White later retracted his assertions about dissociatives. The real reason that K is not often use on as you have said-- 'emergence reactions,' or people freaking out. It is, however, still used on children because it is a very safe anesthetic. Apparently children and animals don't get high on K?
