Smoking - how to smoke salvia?

Panda has heard so many different ways to smoke salvia and would like to know the best way to? things that panda would like to know about-

-what kind of lighter?(the butane jet kind or any will do)
-bong or pipe? (does it matter?)
-where should the deed be done (sitting, standing, laying, etc)
-what should he do on the trip

There are alreayd some thread on this forum about how to smoke salvia... for the next time try a search before starting a new thread.

for what SWIM knows/has read and for his personal experience,

- a butane jet lighter (torch lighter) is the best thing because salvia needs alot of heat. (through this point is highly debated: alot say a normal lighter is enaugh) SWIM would say that a torch lighter isn't a bad idea.

- BONG!!! you can get more smoke inside, then take the hit. With a normal pipe often you will need to take more than one hit to get ALL the salvia burned.

- SWIM recommends to take the hit then to lay down. Alot of falls have been atributed to the use of salvia and you can hurt yourself if you fall. Even if you sit on a chair you can fall from the chair. SWIM HIGHLY recommends laying down.

- Well... enjoy.. thats all I can say.. there's nothing really to do on a salvia trip other than beeing in the trip... you will be in another dimension if its a high extract (25x and higher) if it's lower well you will see patherns and fractals and you will laugh alot (5x).

Before experimenting a drug SWIM always make a search on Erowid to know more about it... I suggest SWIY do the same so you can expect more what is going to happen... read reports, read the effects and infos you can find about salvia
