USMC drug test question

So swim is trying to join the us marine corps, but, among other things, he needs to first pass a drug test. he smoked bud about every day for probably around 10 months. he quit on sept 1, smoked once on sept 11, he then gave himself an at home drug test with a cutoff level of 50ng/ml on sept 21 and got a negative result.( the line was barely visible though)
about how long until he can pass a 15ng/ml test?
