Opinions - Dried Achuma becoming sparkly w/crystals?

Swim received an email which had these photos of dried cacti material. The emailer stated that while skinning the cacti he had to deal with a large amount of snot-like ooze coming from the inner green flesh. This snot was very sticky and very annoying.

After the flesh was dried he notice that the material was very sparkly as if it were covered in glitter. The sparkles were more prolific in the snottiest areas of the dish.

Swim is curious if these sparkles may actually be alkaloid crystals. Have any Swiys seen this on dried material before?

He claims he got he got a very mellow trip from smoking a couple bowls of the dried flesh. Swim told him to try a bowl of the sparkly yellowish snot material and report back.

Here are the photos he sent, the section of the dried green flesh, the beast it came from, and the yellowish dried snot. If swiy looks carfully he can see a small fraction of the sparkles where the light is hitting correctly.
