Filtering smoke through marijuana

So I've always had a hobby of making pipes out of bottles, jars, etc
and trying to do unique things with them (just finished this nice
Goldschlager bong).

Anyway, how potent do you think one could get their marijuana if there
was a little chamber where you could store weed on a pipe that all the
smoke passes through? Would this be a tarry, goopy mess? Is the resin
smoke drastically worse for you than the marijuana itself? The way I
see it is you could get some real potent buds with this technique. I
would love some input, suggestions, or a slap in the face. Well, maybe
not a slap in face.

Ya this makes a cleaner roach weed, no paper resin, around here its called G13 bud, if you have a pipemwih a chamber you toss some weed in for a cpl days/weeks/months and let it turn brown and sticky and then smoke it and BAM supa weed

You can also do it with a paper, i didnt have any grass to spare at one time so i put in a paper and had a resiny paper

i used to do this in those little metal pipes that unscrew and cost 3
dollars when i was a freshmen in high school. yea you get some killer
resinated weed that gets you stupid high and doesnt cost more money. go
for it.

This is a very good idea, maybe you could make a little chamber for your product out of a coke bottle lid. Swim will try this in the future, nice idea.

My cat doesn't want to smoke the parts of resin that don't get him high, but wants to try using a very long chamber filled with shake instead of a water pipe, making BHO out of the 'fortifed leaf', and then vaporizing the extract. He hypothesizes that most if not all the undesireables in resin would remain on the plant material and in the vaporizer, while the cbn/cbd (thc?) would be in his blood. He thinks it would be frugal, tastier, and more convenient than a bong, assuming it cools the smoke effectively. Anyone have suggestions or expeirience with large chambers of this type? Frosty has never used one of these pipes.

One thing to be wary of is forgetting that the chamber-weed exists. SWIM did that, happily smoking his chambered pipe for months. When he finally remembered the weed was in there, it was a disgusting mix of grass, resin, and six months worth of concentrated saliva goo that was so foul that he just couldn't bring himself to ingest it, and this is coming from someone who once smoked a spider.

I've heard the term "stash pipe." SWIM's ALWAYS wanted one, but never had a pipe with a chamber like that. SWIM tried making once out of wood once. In the end it didn't turn out too good...and SWIM figured he wouldn't want to smoke out of it often enough for resin to build up, so he trashed it. SWIM still hoping he sees to buy.

All you need is one of the kick ass old guy wooden pipes. The ones with the plastic mouth piece that comes off. Those things typically have pretty big chambers.

Can someone like draw this in paint for swim or post a picture, he is utterly confused as to what is going where?
