Hey, i may have missed the correct category for this, but please forgive me. If someone weighed out a powder substance that weighed 0.2 grams. And the correct dose of this substance was 50 milligrams, would you divide the substance in half twice to get the correct dose? sorry, im quite bad with math. im guessing 0.1g=100mg? thanks everyone. i have a feeling this place is going to be my home away from home. |

you are correct. 1000mg is a gram. 0.1 is a 100mgs

if accuracy is very important this is not a very good way to weigh out a dose. but since this is in the opiate forum and the dose is 50mg eye balling that way should be safe enough for any opiate i know of where a dose would be 50mg. in the future it would be advisable that you dissolve your known quanitity of powder into a set amount of ethanol. then you'll know how many mg's per each ml of water, very accurate dosing technique if you use a syringe. *<!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> |
