Effects - Weird Methylphenidate (ritalin) effects.

So this has happened more then once,
Although it is enjoyable, it does scare me.

After a night out on the town, drinking with a few friends.
I would come home, crush up 2 10mg methylphenidate ritalin pills, and snort away. (by the time i snort, I'm sober from the alcohol)
Five minuets later i decide to snort 2 more pills, see what happens

I had some very weird effects. Enjoyable, but nothing snorting ritalin should cause.
I had the same effects before when i snorted 3 pills, (also been out drinking a few hours before)

But because of the higher does this time, i had stronger "weird effects"
The effects are somewhat comparable to the effects of MDMA
I'll try and describe the effects as best as i can:

So i would get the normal rush, euphoric effects of abusing ritalin. . But later on, things got different. I actually started to have visuals, of the walls moving, or objects "breathing" But it was a lot more obvious, then when you see "breathing" objects due tiredness or whatever. My room looked much bigger, everything was moving, kind of like the beginning visual effects of MDMA. If i played "amphetamine trance" the effects would increase, and i would feel more euphoric. Then i started to feel different, like the on-set to MDMA effects. Although i didn't feel the "peaceful, empathetic" attitude.
Everything had a green colour tint to it. That freaked me out. I realized, i was even acting like i was tripping on MDMA. staring at things all the time.
The visual effects got stronger and stronger over the full 4 hours. Then i came down.

What could of caused these effects. I know if i do it again, i will have the same effects.

I have a few theories, that might have some possibility:

a) The alcohol combined with the methylphenidate caused the effects. (even though i was sober when i snorted)
b) Since its a strong stimulant i could not feel tired, maybe my mind was actually tired, causing the "breathing" objects
c) I did have a few drags of cannabis 4 hours before.
d) maybe that was just the effects of abused ritalin?
