Just a fucked up situation: personality change on methamphetamine

K... How to start this....

The other day swim was supposed to go hang out at the state fair with friends. Plans changed and swim ended up buying crank with his fair money and going to the beach. Swim hadent used crank for about 6 months+ and really didint want to buy it in the first place. But, swims friends were coming down (and no swim was not pressured into buying it he just did it) Lets see...
Basicly one of swims best friends of 5 years started tripping on her boyfriend about nothing. She was just making up shit as an excuse to go see her dope dealer. Well, All shit aside they all end up on the local "track" at about 12:00 AM (not a nice area for anyone to be) Swim had just used the last of his bus fair to get down there. so swim was basicly broke. Swims "friend" tells him she is going to be back in 2 hours and to use his bus transfer to go back to the beach and wait. Swim knew when he looked in her eyes she wasent coming back. Swim specificly asked "are you really coming back?" She said yes on swims friendship she would. Swim told her he would hold her too it. Well all shit aside swims friend and his "date" get into the dopemans car and leave. Swim and his friends boyfriend stood there about 10 mins thinking wtf they should do and ended up walking 200 + blocks to get home. Swim asked his "date" later on if they even came back and she said no. So yea swim got ditched in the most run down area in the state.

Swim has sence cut his "friend" off. Swim also took this as a great reminder why he hadent touched dope in over 6 months. Swim feels he left that part of his life down on that track.

Not sure what the point of this post is. Mabey to remind people the perils of meth and what it does to people. Swim relises his situation could have been alot worse and is accually glad it happened. It showed him his so called "friends" true colors.

Swim was really hurt by his friend tho when she ditched him. They met before the meth. Swim has always had this persons back. Always spoke well of this person and always went out of his way to help her out anytime she needed it. Swim thinks its sad drugs have taken over her life the way it has but sometimes you just have to move on and get over shit.

Swim used to hear meth changes people and didint believe it. Well swim is here to tell you that it does change people and for the worst. As sad as it is swim still has mad love for his friend but he knows he could never look at her the same again. This girl was so sweet before the drugs. She has recently been prostituting herself to drug dealers to get her fix. So swims not at all shocked that it happened. Swim just wanted to share that situation with you all. Mabey someone can get something out of it. Any opinions or input from others would be appretiated too.

Enhancion, My friend, let me say that if thats the worst thing you encounter involving meth your lucky, all meth addicts know that one point in their lives that they chose to continue, we all knew the risks,.....So be that ONE that actually listened to that first epiphany that says "maybe this stuff is not for me" Trust me, there arent many who can function on this stuff, it is possible but not many do.

hae not sure if this thread is still alive but here goes.....swim agrees completely with swijon about not many pepz kan function on the stuff and i think my story is a good xample so if you dnt mind i mite tell mine....
.....it all started bak wen swim was 17 he was kinda awear of wat this stuff duz to people so he was prity reluctant to try it but then he left home nd started living in the city(grew up in the country so was prity sheltered asa kid)
then came along a newly met frend that smoked the odd bowl now and then and we got talkn about this substance and he assured him that it wasnt really as addictive as its hyped up 2 be so swim decided to give it a try nd b4 he new it swim was a fully hooked tweeker and this is something swim am not prowd ov but wunce he lost his job because all he would du is go round to my dealers houce nd smoke up all day and nite and not go 2 work,swim started stealing off his flaymates and friends this went on for about 1year until the partys involved caught on to wat was really going on and he got kikd out(swim was very sneaky with wat he did)
then swiim did wat he was 2 nieve 2 do b4 was take a step back and take a look at wat swim had become wunce he did that he was horrified so swim stopped cold turkey also stoped drinking witch was very heavy at the time umung uther things and it sceared the shit out of him and wot the future held...
...and the funny thing is after 8mounths of being clean he now hits the bowl every other week nd is not hooked on it it never exceeds 2 times aweek and this has been going on for 18mounths now so moral of the story well in my opinon nyway is if swim has the right mind set going into it and edjicates wuns self addicktion kan be avoided...in saying that swim kaNt be sure seeing as this luky individual depicted in my story had proior addiction experience ...but nyway sory for the long post just wanted 2 get my storie out there..wyte_owt

it's sad when this happens ,, it could be with any drug, people let the drugs do them... old story, new faces..
