That's not too old, they may have lost a bit of potency but probably not all that much... depends on how well they're been stored tho, is the container airtight?
I don't think there's any risk from using expired opiates (particularly if it's not 10 years or some shit). If they aren't off-color or moist/crumbly, SWIM is probably good to go.Edited by: Nicaine |

they're in good condition - they look like normal pills. they're still in the bottle they came in from the pharmacy.

Your fine, I dont know the stability of Oxycodone, but you should be fine. If it was SWIM who had them he would use them and not give a second thought about it. The worst thing youll run into is them being a little weaker than normal, if even that.

All the expiration date means is that the drug is 90% of the original
potency. So on 12-7-03, the drug had 9mg of oxycontin that hasn't degraded yet. Chances are, it was actually one year from the original purchase (The law is every drug going out of a pharmacy has an exp date of one year from it's original packing, no matter what) and depending on the activity of that pharmacy's sales, the real exp date may have been 2004 or 2005, even 2006. |

Absolutly do not use these oc's, they are way too old!!! Package them discretly and mail them to me so that I can dispose of them properly. J/K they should be fine, as stated above if anything they would have become slightly weaker but not poisonous. |

SWIM took them a few of them and was able to get the desired effect. they were fine, except that they were a little weaker than they probably should have been. thanks everyone for the advice! SWIM might've missed out on a nice amount of oxys if it weren't for you guys!
