expired ultram (tramadol)

not sure if this is the right category to post in, but anyway...

SWIM just recently came across a nice, full bottle of ultram... that was prescribed 5 years ago. the bottle did not give an expiration date, though, just date when the prescription was filled(2-7-00). they look like new - they weren't stored in the sun or heat or anything. are these stillokay to take?

i'd have to say no just because its the smartest way not to get dead...but i'd prolly take a small dose of it about 40 mgs to see if it wont hurt you then work your way up

alot of drugs are ok for 5 yrs or so and who knows it might not even expire

if you're on of the ppl who buy script drugs on the street all the time with no idea about the expiration date theres not much more risk in taking these

yo bro ultram is a synthetic opiate.... hmmm maybe try putting it under the opiate thread and stop filling up our benzo space.... in general though expired medication is good for a another 2-3 years after the experirationg 5 years might be pushing it. i doubt u get sick just it might lose potency

Re: expired ultram (tramadol)

Tramadol HCL is an exceedingly stable molecule in cool/dry state, & protected from light. You could probably store the dry compound for hundreds of years with little or no decomposition, just as you can with shite sugar.
