Gbl?

SWIM's neighbour purchased some 'GBL' online and is starting to question whether it is in fact GBL.

He didn't realise at first, but he has been having difficulties with dosing and enjoying it. His observations, when compared to the GBL that he normally has, includes:

* It has a more potent taste.
* It has an added 'eggy' smell to it.
* The concentration doesn't seem as high- he has to take more than normal.
* The high is more 'jagged'- there isn't the warm feeling of GBL and he twicthes more. It feels more toxic.
* He doesn't feel so horny on it.

Is this a dodgy batch? Or, to ask a silly question, could this be 1.4 bd rather than GBL?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Gbl?

It seems that some online vendor do not sell pure GBL

It seems that that GBL contains ethylene glycol;

Re: Gbl?

Oh right.

Apart from not being as good, as SWIM's friend says, would SWIM's friend be risking any health issues due to the unwanted ingredient?

Re: Gbl?

Red Rock has never heard of GBL containing ethylene glycol but then again his knowledge on GBL is limited. Ethylene glycol is more commonly referred to as antifreeze. It is very toxic and has a LD50 of about 1.4g/kg for humans.
