Oral use - salvia extract buccal/sublingual

SWIM recently ordered a 20x extract of std. SD and tried it twice sublingual with poor results.

1st trial SWIM used ~1/8 g. and puts directly the material under his tongue for about 15 minutes. No effect except that the sound of a passing train turned out a little frightening and his legs felt a warmth vibes that stopped when he moved. Next morning, heavy pot-like head.

2nd trial SWIM used 0.2g in a tea-sack under his tongue again for 20'. Nothing. Next morning, heavy pot-like head.

After searching the web for buccal/sublingual it appears that successfull buccal extract aren't that common with dried extract.

Swim thinks his failures might be related to the low SD surface resulting from the in-mouth clustered extract. Swim consider a 3rd trial using a fine slice of fruit presenting an even surface of SD extract for under-tongue insertion.

Any thoughts?

My lizard recommends using slightly more Salvia in future attempts, such as .5 gram. For smoking, the amount swiy used was good, but the absorption is much slower when taken sublingually. Swiy might also try making a tea that is held in the mouth for thirty seconds per mouthful.

Now, the hot water would be enough to get salvinorum A out of the extract or sould I add alcool too?

Has smoking worked for swiy before? I would doubt any effects if swiy has not already felt the experience (reverse tolerance). It took swim 3 attempts at smoking to get affects. He smoked a full gram of 30x twice with no trip, then he was shattered by a .5g dose of 15x. Also salvinorin a is not soluble in water so tea might not work so good. If anything throw a tablet or 2 of vitimin c in to raise the acidity.

Swim has always wanted to try this with the extract, but never wanted to waste it. he would suggest including alcohol because as mentioned above salvinorin A is not very water soluble. also, swiy could use a little mouth wash with alcohol in it just prior to putting the stuff under swiy's tongue, this will also help absorption

It is not very soluble in alcohol either. Salvia tea, in general, is very inefficient.
