Coleus First Time
Hi,
SWIM has been interested in trying out some sort of herbal drug now for quite some time, but has never got around to it. Now he didn't want to try anything illegal as his family and workplace and most people he knew, were a little on the "starchy" side shall we say. he works at a nursery that sells every kind of flower and plant you can imagine so was, at first, a little unsure what to try. Eventually, after much surfing the internet and reading all the books he could find, he decided that Coleus could be just up his street in the terms of what to try for a first attempt. So, he raided the stock plants for a few ehem! "cuttings for home" and made his way back to his house. That evening SWIM was very excited and went to bed early taking the bag of coleus leaves with him. He decided to take 10 x leaves initially by rolling them up and chewing on them, but holding the juice in his mouth as you would for salvia. The first lot of leaves was held in my mouth for over 1/2 hour but i wasn't really feeling anything, so I rolled up another 6 or 7 leaves of about the same size (4" by about 2" wide) and chewed those again using the salvia method. After about another 10 minutes and having swallowed the last bunch of leaves, he started to get some mild effects. The first thing SWIM noticed was that he suddenly felt very calm and not as excited as he was earlier on, also he had a slight feeling of buzzing through his whole body, like if you drink to much coffee but without the jitters. SWIM sat in bed for about another 15 minutes with this pleasent feeling not subsiding, then needed a slash, so got up and went to the toilet. He didn't feel any dizzyness of loss of balance just a nice warm "comfy" feeling. After his slash, he got back into bed and rolled up another 5 leaves along with a couple of good stem lengths and chewed them for about 20 minutes after which SWIM was very tired and decided to go to sleep (or so he thought). After being in bed for about 10 minutes he noticed that he was getting hotter and hotter but not in an unpleasent way and that also his heartbeat was a bit faster. After a little longer, he started to get a slight stomach ache and began to wonder whether he had actually poisoned himself. But, this feeling passed and he started to drift off. SWIM was just about to drift off into REM when he got a really strong feeling as if he had just dropped through a trap door, It was as though someone had hooked SWIM up on a bungy rope and yanked him downwards it was so abrupt. This feeling took SWIM by surprise and he sat bolt up in bed and switched on the light, but everything seemed normal visualwise, but his heart was still beating quickly and he was feeling very hot. After a minute or two he lay back down and tried to get to sleep, but the same thing happened another two times, and he kept having to sit up and put the light on. On the third time and after getting used to the feeling somewhat, SWIM decided to go with the flow and lie back and not panic. After getting relaxed again he lay back and waited for the "dropping" feeling to come again but it didn't, instead SWIM dropped off into a deep sleep, which he was thankful of due to the fact it was now 4am and he was getting up for work in a couple of hours. During the rest of the night I did have a good vivid dream, which involved me trying to drive a car with my mother in the front seat whilst I was sitting on the back, but she kept pushing my hands off the wheel?? very strange. So, on reflection, SWIM had a good experience and he woke the next day feeling happy with himself for having done it, and this weekend SWIM may have another go with a few more leaves. The only thing he hopes is that it wasn't a placibo effect, but meh! If it was then where's the harm? Anyway thanks for listening to his story and he hopes to give you an update soon. |
