My pet sloth decided to try Salvia a few days ago. Whilst probably not sensible, he decided to try his first time at Salvia with 20x, but knowing that his tolerance for a lot of drugs is fairly high to begin with. He had also had a few drinks that night, but only two pints of lager, so nothing much.
He took one hit using a bong and a torch lighter and held it in. Nothing happened for about 30 seconds, and then the room started getting dizzy. He just felt a little more drunk really. After 5-10 minutes he then took another hit from the bong. Suddenly he felt like gravity had been intensified. No visuals really, things might have looked a little cartoony. At one point he felt like he was stuck in an infinite loop and lost the sense of reality for about 15 seconds. He described it as breathtaking. While on the trip, my sloth felt like he had discovered something new about the universe.
The only negative side to this experience was that my sloth was paranoid throughout the whole trip that his smoke alarm was going to go off. He was trying his best to blow the smoke out his window, but his smoke alarm is very loud and would not want to disturb his neighbours. The paranoia did not allow my sloth to relax. I think next time he will be fine though and more relaxed, and will hopefully provide a better trip for him. Also, I think next time he will try it without having had any alcohol at all, as he reckons that also changed the trip.
He was disappointed that he didn't get that many visuals, but then again, as he has read, the effects of salvia differ greatly from trip to trip and person to person.
