but with Percocet being a pain killer and Some being a muscle relaxer
which will work better? does muscle relaxers get rid of pain as well?

Somas help to reduce muscle related pain caused by strains, sprains, and other muscle injuries. It in not sutable for toothaches or any other kind of pain. Now Oxycodone (the percocet) works MUCH better for any kind of pain. Put the Somas away for another day.
