SWIM took it himself, SWIM lives in Pennsylvania, US. The plant was located at a forest area.

Re: What plant is this?
How long would it take for this plant to get identified on that site?

Re: What plant is this?
That is an utterly useless photograph for plant ID. It's blurry, it doesn't show the entire structure, it doesn't include the flowers, it doesn't have any information on the type of bark, soil, environment...
Pleas go get some decent plant ID guides and take a look through them, then come back with the necessary info. It's not sumac, not with berries along the stem like that. And no, it's not going to get you fucked up, not in Pennsylvania. |

Re: What plant is this?
Well, SWIM's camera sucks. SWIM also can't leave berries unidentified, he is dying of curiosity.

Re: What plant is this?
Well, since this is in the ethonobotanical forum, i really wonder why you think this plant is an ethno-plant? Is it a random plant that you think may look like an ethno-plant, or what? If so, then this is a tough querry to put people upto, lol. But im not complaining, im just curious.
Btw: After googling chokecherry, thanks to shanty finn, i agree that it does resemble a chokecherry . But im not an expert whatsoever.

Re: What plant is this?
Choke cherry is not psyco active. A lot of the plant parts do contain arsinic though.
