Worried about liver pain
Hey folks,
so I'm getting a little nervous about pain I've been having. Last week I went on a 5 night drinking binge. Wed-Sun I had various parties and concerts to attend and I havent drank consecutively like this i years (usually just once or twice a week) Monday morning I woke up and had really bad pain right under my ribcage (seemingly from the liver.) I feel pain when bending in any way or taking a deep breath. Its now almost wednesday (technically is) and the pain has not gone away, but doesn't feel as severe as monday. it is still pretty prominent. I really dont want to go to the doctor ( but i will if this does not go away in the next couple of days) what do you guys think? on another forum people suggested my liver could just be swollen and detoxing after all that alcohol. I didnt really take care of my body that week and drink enough water like I should have. I know my behaviour was stupid and I learned my lesson, Im just afraid its serious. If I had serious liver problems wouldnt I have more symptoms? like jaundice? discolored urination? etc.. Monday morning I was a little pale but that subsided. Thanks for your help |
