Drug info - What to do and where with GBL/GHB?

hi everyone - im new here - my first post! hope i dont break any of the many rules!

I was just wondering, ive been doing some research online about gbl and there are lots of websites offering to sell it, can any of these be trusted? they are marketed as paint stripper or alloy cleaner etc, and if that was to be purchased, how do you know if it is the right kind etc and how would you take it? i have no understanding of chemistry really and im intrigued to see how easy it is to get hold of online. any help would be appreciated!

For starters, *you* wouldn't take it and nobody else around here would either.

Someone Who Isn't You might get up to all sorts of illegal activity but that would be their business.

Anyhoo, GBL is an industrial chemical that should not be ingested as it converts to GHB in-vivo (inside the body) and GHB is either:
a) A dangerous, poisonous, dirty street drug and harbinger of instant death or,
b) A non-toxic, commercially produced pharmacological agent that has been proven to alleviate the symptoms of daytime cataplexy in narcoleptic patients simply by inducing a proper sleep cycle.

Just because it has a proven record of alleviating a myriad of conditions through its mode of action doesn't mean that you should ignore the rampant hysteria screamed at you from all corners of the media. After all, he who shouts loudest must be right, right?

Remember, keep repeating their mantra:

So, to finish, please don't ask for information on where to find GBL or how to evaluate online suppliers of GBL, because that is against the rules.
