In regards to the long term effects of nootropics, is there evidence that taking nootropics over time will increase cognition and memory and metnal power and the such even when not under the influence of the substances, or would it similarly make one rather burnt out and tired and dull when one had a nootropic habit he doesnt keep up with or do nootropics give a diminished return at any point? I hope that long run on sentence is clear, swim just woke up with this question in his head.
