Experiences - First time with morning glory CWE - old seeds?

SWIM bought 200 seeds from a head shop a few weeks ago and tryed them out a few days ago.
1. SWIM ground the seeds using a pestle and mortar (took a long time to grind down).
2. SWIM put ground seeds in a fresh bottle of water with a pinch of citric acid.
3. Put bottle in fridge and left for bout 2 hours, shaking every so often.
4. Strained liquid through coffie filter then mixed with orange squash.
The liquid was muddy looking and smelt nutty.

T - SWIM drank about half the liquid mixed with lots of squash but it tasted horrible and made swim feel sick (but drank it anyway).
T+30mins - SWIM had light lunch
T+45mins - SWIM started feeling slightly sick, but could egnore it easily.
T+1h20mins - feeling slightly more happy but nothing special though colours seem brighter and sight is sharper.
T+3h - SWIM completley normal.

Swim thinks 200 seeds should have been enough and was very dissapointed with effects. The seeds might have been quite old (sitting on shop shelf for a long time) or is swims extraction method missing something?

Swim is female, with low boddy mass.
swim also ate a few seeds a week before to check for any allergic reactions.
