Opinions - What to do when swiy loses their contact.

Swim was trying to find his contacts no. but couldn't find it anywhere!
So he headed to the local detox center in vain as no1 was there this time of night, then he asked a couple of prostitutes but one didnt use and the other told swim it's hard to get around here now.

It sucks, when swim is broke as fuck he always hears about the good stuff going round but when he manages to scrape smth together he cant get the shit

any suggestions?

Talk to the homeless people. Offer to buy them a bag if they help you (this almost always works when one can't find a connect)

is there a methadone clinic in swims area? people who frequent methadone clinics are known to have info on this sort of thing. if swiy hangs out around the clinic it may take a few tries, but swiy can most likely find someone that might be of help. in swims area, the open market is virtually noexistant- street dealers dont just hang around in areas and sell bags, swim either has a regular dealer with a number or she has to buy someone a bag to help.
swim knows how swiy feel. her connect has been in jail for over a week and she just ran out of the pharm opiates that she was using to keep off the w/d so swim will be forced to take to the streets tomorrow-when she gets some cash. good luck

so swim went swimming again with hopes of finding treasure, he swam back to where the prostitutes were and turns out that his friend is one..
they spoke for an hour and turns out she's a good contact,
small fuckin world this is huh.. he still doesn't know what to think about it,

What's this "tomorrow" business? SWIM's off to the city right now! He just got out of detox and is jonesing to get high on SOMETHING, and if he cant shoot dope, shooting coke is second best. lol you said "one of my best bodyguards" swim can only imagine what deadly thing that might be. If only you lived in southwest NJ you would never have a problem finding connects, however when SWIM was an uneducated pond skipper he used to ask the local homeless for backup and connects, just make shure you find one that you can trust. Also, just remember don't use more than 1 because they are like vultures when you come back and they won't ever leave you alone. Unfortunatly, southern NJ has fallen off and SWIM wonders about quality compared to what it used to be.

ps. just remember if your caught with a weapon and drugs its a LOT worse, your better off losing the $10 than getting violent, especially in a small city where you might run into that someone again, SWIM knows from personal experience

SWIMs most reliable contact abruptly started ignoring him so he ended up going on methadone. So far he has no desire for dope but wants to shoot coke like you read about, and it looks like, sadly he's off to the city to try to score as that connect (same person) is still ignoring him. He doesn't understand why, his money is just as green as anyone elses

swim is off to the city to score tomorrow as well, but in her town that is one hell of a difficult thing to do. getting dope without buying a bag for the person with the actual connect is unheard of, and swim doesnt have money for that shit! she is so dissapointed, cause a week or so ago, she was the one with the actual connect
but the tiny tiny positive to this situation is that swim can relate to eyesoftheworld
she has been outta cash and dope now for long enough that withdrawals are basically over, and she is just jonsing for any sort of fix
considering the horrible heroin scene and the giant coke scene, she will probably go with that. still, swim cannot afford to be screwed out of her last bit of cash so its quite a dodgy situation all in all

Yeah swims spot was just raided so swim knows how swiy feels, but at the moment he just met a girl and is making an effort to quit( wish him luck). Any who if swim goes to all the usual spots and either knows the dope is beat or there not out he will tell one of the local homeless people he will buy them a bag or if they just want 10 bucks for hard(crack) or something he will just do that if they show him where the best stuff is. They usually always know just make sure swiy looks for a non threatening looking homeless person and never let them hold swiys money. Best of luck.

yes swim knows buying a fellow junkie/homeless person a bag is the way to go, but has no money for it shes considering switching back to coke for a little while though, cause shes actually over the withdrawals mostly, just wants to get high now. if she had the choice, of course swim would take the smack anyday, but she thinks it might be beneficial if she can manage to take a break from it temporarily, so good luck to swiy, hoping swim will have the same!

Whenever Sway has a hard time finding gear around town, she heads straight down to the methadone clinic to question those guys. You might have to buy them a bag or something, but they always know where to find stuff.

Same boat, all swims dealers got popped. Swim went to where the homeless tend to congregate but all the the homeless that congregate in this area do crystal all the H addicts are usually out scamming for some cash. Swim has never gone to the methadone clinic in search of a connect, swim feels like he shouldnt tempt a junkie trying to get clean if thats their true intention. But now seems to be the time to go.

Said it in another thread, but working girls are generally pretty wise, and in swims experience good people to deal with. May be a local thing though. Should add it pays to be kinda assured (be clear in communications) but also (of course) respectful

Swim knows exactly how that is 'No money = Shit everywhere! Enough money = Shit nowhere to be found!

Does swiy have any friends that use? Perhaps they could assist swiy in thier quest?

Man whats all the probs with scoring, swims got a loads of contacts and even gets new numbers rammed down his throat on a semi regular basis that swim just never contacts as he really needs and uses about 3 contacts as between them at least one of thems always got!!!Bad smack problem down weymouth mind!

SWIMcsmokey - SWIM was in Malta recently and found that the prostitute angle worked but it will probably be a case of buying a bag or something. If you are Maltese I am sure you will know where to go.

forgive swim, appears he thought this was a different thread and didnt fully reread over the posts, but he would still like to hear as to how this benefited swim, and which methods worked the best

Please keep us updated, as to which method worked best, possible problems, things to look out for, etc. as to possible give other swimmers ideas and to build and improve these ideas for other people to use, when they also lose their connections (of course keeping out any and all source and "connection" info) but keeping the general ideas available and proper for everyone

Swim met a working girl he knew (didnt know she was one) and she hooked him up, he couldnt afford to buy her a bag so he gave her a little of his, last night he did the same and tho he had a little more money he still couldn't afford another bag for her although he was more than happy to give her out of his bag, if it wasnt for her the fish would be dry and miserable.

Swim thinks that what's good about asking working girls when swiy approaches them they would most likely think you're just another client so swiy knows they're going to be friendly, it's not the first time he's asked one and even if they say no from his experience they arent rude about it. the only trouble swim thinks you could have is the waiting game as swiy has to wait for her instead of doing the deed swiyelf.

other than that it's down to common sense, always know where swiys money is right up until swiy can see what they want.

another bonus to this is that if the girl is working out of an apartment or smth the next time swiy needs swiy doesn't need to roam around the streets.

On the whole swim found this much safer than asking some randomer next to a meth clinic or smth like that. One time swim got all his cash & phone stolen doing it that way.
