Until recently i used to drink quiet heavily. And over several years it had gotto the point where it was startin to affect my health. Hemeroids, back pain, liver damageto mentino a few.It was also affecting my life in bad ways.Mornin shakes, ringing in sick at work. Not to mention being a crap husband and father.

Aswell as this i used recreation drugs but could take em or leave them, meaning, i went months without, then might have a bit of a mad month where would take E every weekend and try and act 19 again lol

Around 1 of these times the wife started taking speed, purely for slimming purposes and I'd have take some at weekendif spare as it was a nice buzz without being to out of it. I noticed when on speed i drank considerably less, I'd tend to crack open a can n jus kinda leave it sat there while getting on with things (my cars never looked cleaner )

Well anyway to get to the point. That was about a year since.I've carried on with the wizz & enjoyed it and rarely drink. Yet as i do seem to have an adddictive personality this has now become a problem. I can go through as much as 1/2 ounce a weekend and the sleep deprivation can prove exhausting at times. Before startin with speed i was overweight at 13st 7lbs now I'm struggling to keep on the weight and weighing in at an unhealthy looking 10st 9lbs.

Weighing up the pro's and cons of the situation. I really really dont want to go back to drinking. At least with speed i go to work regular, dont have shakes, dont spend half my life sat in the pub. Am a half decent husband & father.

So in the long term which is the most detremental to my health? I may aswell go back to drinking if speed in going to ruin my health.

Hope this makes sense as its Moday morning (long weekend). What I'm basically askin is which is worse for me long term. Booze or Speed?Edited by: Matty
