Combinations - Mixing DXM with Percocet

Hello SWIM is an experienced drug user and finds that he can handle most drugs and combinations, he has only ever had a bad experience once and that was at the start of his mushroom experimentation's.

SWIM was wondering a couple things.

Is it dangerous if SWIM drank a bottle of syrup and had 2-5 percocets (oxycodone)?

He will add weed in here to but that wont change the danger factor to my knowledge.


Will the percocet dull the trip down or add to the hallucinations?

The DXM will potentiate the oxycodone significantly. SWIM would advise very strongly against the combination, and suggest sticking to either DXM or Oxy + marijuana.

this is a pretty dangerous cocktail. swiy should not take dxm, hydrocodone, and THC/CBD without an understanding of how they interact together and a good understanding of how to dose under these conditions. each of these chemicals potentiate ech of the other chemicals. If swiy really wants the opiate feel with his dxm trip dont smoke the weed and decrease the amount of hydrocodone significantly. if swiy is still intent on trying this knowing the dangers the start with maybe 1-2 perc(s) and half a bottle of robo.

Half a bottle does nothing for SWIM, SWIM thinks he's going to try 1 bottle and 1 percocet at the start and then 2 hours later he will try 1 or 2 more depending on how he feels. If he can handle it he will smoke a bowl in a pipe and see where he goes.

This is generally bad idea to mix opiates with DXM due to the danger of possibly even life-threatening respiratory depression caused by both substances. Swiy could be a little more specific, it's really hard to tell what is the amount of DXM in a bottle of syrup (about 400mg?) and how much oxycodone is 2-5 percocet pills. It would be good to know swiy weight too because dosing of DXM is calculated as a mg/kg ratio. There can be tolerance for both opiates and DXM involved too. Hence there is not enough data to say anything conclusively.

So, as a general rule Alf says that one should avoid mixing cns depressants with DXM, especially in upper plateaus (7.5mg/kg and more). Swiy probably would be better off using small amount of DXM (45mg max) to block tolerance for opiates than mixing the two. Or maybe using just a little bit. Or maybe using oxycodone after coming down from DXM.

Marijuana, on the other hand, is quite safe to mix with DXM. One should expect powerful synergy but there should be no dangerous interaction between them whatsoever.

SWIM is already experienced with MJ + DXM combo. SWIM didn't realize how much the DXM would potentate the Oxy SWIM might just take 100 mg and see how it goes. He will atleast look into it for a bit longer.

Swim used DXM to potentiate hydrocodone once; he would not advise taking over 200mg of DXM with any amount of opiate. He had 7.5mg hydrocodone and 120mg DXM, and there was already very large, noticeable synergy. He had a good time and is glad he didn't take more of either.

Pleases excerize caution,my grandma is a opiate user with a medium toelrence(80-100mg of OC for a decent buzz) and has almost stopped breathing combining morphine + DXm and its my assumption that hydrocodone will work the same way.

swims done this before if swiy must mix the two start with the tussin at a 2nd plateau at the highest and gradually work up from a half a percocet
swim still felt most of the dissacoative effects, the oxycodones euphoric effects, a complete warm numbness, and a nod. swim would say dont try it at all though unless swiys very experienced with both and start slow
