Re: Swim's arsenal for withdrawal, will it work?

Aww.....SWIM just finished rambling a bit about how animals are therapeutic if somebody is an animal lover and so she thinks it's great that SWIY is getting a kitty. Is it a kitten or full grown cat? She will have to go see pics after this post...
Their antics make you laugh which equals endorphins, right? Plus they charm and soothe the soul and are something to love, and are innocent, needy, sweet little animals haha....SWIM sounds like a nerd, but she loves them and thinks this is great timing for getting a new pet for SWIY

It's good SWIY is being vigilant with the anxiolytics and knows the risks of switching addictions of course, but SWIM thinks he's damned lucky to have them for this too, regardless..it's hard to go completely cold turkey, no meds, supplements, nothing....

Is he using l-tyrosine and b vitamins? Maybe it's just my friend is a random case, but she find there is a noteable difference in energy level and major mood improvement with those things. She knows SWIY knows about that cuz he mentioned thread, posted advice for my friend, but is he actually doing it? Because it is very valuable in SWIM's opinion, very very much so.....
She even found taking amino acids, (always l-tyrosine at least) before studying, or when having to go to work or class or do something stressful while sleep deprived or have been awake panicky all night, that it really helps clear the head and gives energy unexpected after having had such a night....a nice surprise....

SWIM's sorry to hear about the death of the witness that is possibly bothering SWIY but glad to hear he may have a better run of things in court. Hopefully those lawyer fees will not be too extraordinary once this is all over for him.

Hang in there, SWIY, and stay strong, and tell him to remember he will inspire others by finding his own recovery and sharing it, if that helps motivate him at all....

And again very cool about getting the cat, hope that brightens things up immensely. Has SWIY thought of names for it yet?
