Physical & mental capacity while on Ritalin?

SWIM was extremely tired the other day and he was at a class one day on methyl phenidate to keep himself from falling a sleep in class.

He recalls he was very alert and knew what was going on and clearly remembers what he did in class, however, his experienced stuttered speech. Stuttered, not slurred and incoherent as experienced with alcohol.

Any other DFers care to share SWIYers experience?
