For oral doses some people have reported that 2-3 indigestion relief pills (1 to 1.5g of calcium carbonate or similar non toxic alkaline compound) around 15 minutes before dosing can increase the intensity and length of the peak.

My friend normally takes his methylone dissolved in half a bottle full of coca-cola to the club and drinks it just before he goes in and has said that the longer it sits in the coke the more tame the effects. I'm unsure as to the chemistry of it but I'd think H+ ions would find that phenyl ring damn tasty which could result in full saturation of it with hydrogen in turn leading to a less potent chemical.
