FWIW, SWIM just followed the instructions posted by the OP and is now going through the drying stage (he scraped up the wet crystals on a plate he warmed up on an ovem element.) He started with .47g of what he thinks is decent stuff and he ended up with .29g of flaky, very light-feeling stuff that did not stick to the credit card SWIM used to chop it up, which was the most surprising thing.
Now, SWIM wanted to do as advised and do a manual sorting of the crystals, but there's no way he could distinguish between two different-looking substances in his cleaned pile. Maybe once it has dried out completely?
SWIM will report back on his final impressions once he finally gets to taste the stuff.

Update - SWIM had a first taste of his cleaned stuff and his feelings are mixed. The one very noticeable change is that the cleaned cocaine is much fluffier & lighter, as others have mentioned in this thread... it is so much lighter, in fact, that when SWIM snorted his first line, he inadvertently sucked up most of a neighboring line! It made him feel all warm and nice in a matter of seconds - now, SWIM doesn't know how much of that intensity is due to the fact that he snorted twice as much as he normally does. Doh!
The other noticeable change is the much subtler taste. SWIM's stuff has that typical fuel taste & smell - the cleaned-up cocaine still has some of that quality, but most of it is gone... for the better I s'pose, although SWIM didn't mind it.
As for the feeling in the nose, SWIM can't say he feels much of a difference (outside of the fact that the fluffier, lighter cocaine doesn't tingle like the heavier, un-cleaned stuff). His nose reacts the same way - there is a mild burning sensation that lasts about a second before disappearing completely.
SWIM will taste some more tomorrow, although he already doubts he will make the acetone wash a habit. Maybe the cocaine he gets is already high-quality stuff to begin with... although the .47g to .29g suggests the presence of ~40% garbage.
