well done on this, you are staying strong for yourself.

SWIM also stopped drinking about the same time as you and knows its bloody tough going.

Getting through the day is what is mainly required, its great you are taking up things to pass the time and keep your mind of the bottle. SWIM too needs to do that but is finding it difficult at the moment.

DF is certainly one of the most fantastic places for SWIMs. It possibly helps SWIM keep his mind off the bottle at times too..

May I suggest not trying to sleep the craving off, I do understand the need, but it really wont help with the insomnia that comes with coming off the drink.
