My hamster agrees with enquirewithin that SWIY has the right frame of mind. When one has abused stimulants (pharmaceutical, or street, including meth) for such a length of time, it is to be expected that one would be burnt out pretty bad! My hamster says that modafinil (Provigil) helped him tremendously when he had to face the task of quitting speed. But like SWIY, he ran out at one point and had to come face to face with his addiction.

As SWIY mentioned, "face the music", and be strong. Things will definitely reach a point where they will be easier. It will come gradually, but rest assured that it will come. My hamster wishes you luck and is sending you positive thoughts. Best of luck to SWIY!
