How long did it take SWIY to get addicted?

Cocaine is a complex for many reasons... Yes it does slowly creap in under the radar. Swim was once addicted. And he remembers that at the start, the addiction only came after he started using more than 2 or 3 times a week. But before he had developped an addiction, he had already developped a dependence by falling completly head over heals for it...

It`s like falling in love. If it`s love at first sight, but for some reason, it can`t last more than 2 hours, you won`t really bother. But if it`s love at first site, and you start dating then maybe later, you'll be inseperable...

But from past experiences, I`ve seen people fall in love at first site with cocaine and given the fact that they remained in contact with the source after. We could say that these people were clearly on an inevitable path to addiction as soon as they hit it up the first time.

Although, lets say you were poor and really couldn`t afford it, then it would be possible to never become addicted. BUT! I don`t think anyone is that poor... except maybe homeless people
