Re: Help for Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS) after Opiate Withdrawal

Swim was at a drug related conference and a speaker talked about her long, horrid heroin addiction from age of 13, tons of experiences, tons of detail....

Swim found PAWS kicking in by the end of the meetings and had to go home to bed in a rush. First experience with it for her....very frightening....
Obviously triggerred by the presentations/talk of drugs. This also led to a relapse, more from fear than actual craving, if that makes sense.

Anyway.

Absolutely fascinating stuff about water/salts/etc, the body, everything here makes brilliant sense and I appreciate it!

Something that a friend (a few of them now) do that makes a bit of a difference....go get pre-natal vitamins to supplement with during these times. They are made to use (often, if good quality) more available, better formulas, and made to be easier on the stomach.
They do make your hair and nails lovely too haha...
They are perfectly safe to take daily even if you are not expecting a baby, don't worry.
