Welshmick: This is one of the reasons that diazepam is perfect for a taper. As well as coming in low dose tablets, it also comes in a liquid form, which allows tiny reductions.
If you are struggling with your doctor, it is perfectly acceptable and, indeed desirable, to ask for a a second/specialist opinion, someone who is used to dealing with benzodiazepine dependence |
