In SWIM s city meth laced weed is a huge problem, there are a few easy ways to tell if your weed is laced with meth, first of all the crystals will be larger than usual and white to clear in color, THC is yellowish in color not clear! When smoked the meth will crackle and sizzle and shoot little sparks out, the smoke is intensely harsh and you won't be able to hold it in it will sting your lungs, after you inhale you will recieve a rush a couple seconds after you exhale. Hopefully this helps some people determine if their pot is laced.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
As the above poster stated, weed is $XX per gram, meth is $XXX per gram. Really don't see no profit increase on added weight. Be a waste of good meth and good weed. Might be the seeds that is giving the 4th of July fireworks show.
Apparently, there is more meth in Canada than weed.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Aren't THC crystals white/clear? Either way I have never heard of meth laced marijuana, as the other two posters said that is totally uneconomical. I think you should check your facts.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
haha SWIM thinks SWIY should check your facts, meth is extremely cheap to produce and is extremely addictive people lace the weed to make it addictive this is a new trend in B.C. it's not happening in the states so if SWIY is american don't post here it doesnt apply to you.

yea apparently... but its not true SWIM lives in canada and has travelled alot east coast to west coast.. meth is WAY harder to find in canada than weed... you can find weed nearly anywhere in canada...
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
it's british columbia that has the most laced weed the gangs over here are doing it, and it's B.C. Bud people think it's so potent on it's own so when it's laced people just think oh wow it's just some crazy B.C. bud, this post was how to tell if weed is laced, not if weed is getting laced or not.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Surely any toker who smoked some of this meth laced weed would KNOW right away that it was not weed.
Never used meth but speed is something Swim knows about. Speed and meth, pretty much the same kinda high.
Swim knows for a fact that weed and speed together are pointless as anyone who takes a decent amount of speed could smoke all day and night, and drink also. The speed is supposed to be less potent than meth so any toker using meth in the weed would likely be phoning up the dealer with some WTF have you sold me phone call!
The average user of weed does not want to be up at 5.00am writing page 54 of an Epic Trilogy of poems whilst trying to find a porn website twisted enough to satisfy that speed induced 'romantic interlude'.
Smoke a good weed you will fall asleep on the couch. Add meth, you'll maybe try and 'repair' the couch, clean it up, maybe fix a few floorboards also.
Seems strange to mix to drugs with opposing effects that do little for each other. Speed or meth surely negates any cannabis high. Swims do smoke for the sake of it on speed. Same with coke, although weed can negate the coke effect which is again a waste of cash!
If anything you would use weed for the BIG speed or meth crash and the milder but still perceptible coke crash.
There really is little point in using both together, unless of course there is some 'scam' afoot in which meth laced weed could be a gateway for full blown meth use.
Hard to see it actually working in Swims pond. People would feel ripped off with a 'free' drug that keeps them up all night and negates the weed high.
Meth-laced pot a huge problem, experts say

Both police and a leading psychiatrist said yesterday they are beginning to see evidence of marijuana laced with highly addictive crystal meth.
By The Vancouver ProvinceJanuary 27, 2006
It's buyer beware when it comes to B.C. bud.
Both police and a leading psychiatrist said yesterday they are beginning to see evidence of marijuana laced with highly addictive crystal meth.
Dr. Bill MacEwan's advice? "Know your supplier. Know where the pot is coming from."
MacEwan, a psychiatrist at St. Paul's Hospital who also heads the schizophrenia program in the psychiatry department at the University of B.C., says he's seeing patients who claim they only smoke marijuana but in whose systems crystal meth is found.
Other doctors working in drug treatment have told him they're also seeing strung-out patients who have smoked meth-laced pot, MacEwan says.
Knowing that pot is being laced with crystal meth is worrisome for those in the health-care field, he notes.
"For a lot of people, it could take them by surprise," he says.
Meth is being added to pot because of its addictive qualities, MacEwan says.
"Drug dealers hypothetically are trying to get people hooked, and crystal meth is a chemical addiction," he says. "You develop a market when they're hooked on your product."
For some, MacEwan adds, it's more tempting to try crystal meth when it's mixed in with pot -- "a more passive way to try crystal meth," he says.
The health risks of smoking the combined drugs can be serious or even fatal, MacEwan notes. "You're not only getting high. It increases your heart rate, it makes you very agitated, you go sleepless and have anxiety," he says.
Delta Police Const. Kim Sheridan says police in that city are now warning the public about the problem.
"We've received information through a variety of sources that this is happening," says Sheridan.
"We want to get the word out there that this type of lacing marijuana with crystal meth is happening throughout the Lower Mainland."
Sheridan says the laced pot may look the same but once smoked will have a much different effect: "They are creating a new generation of addicts."
Cpl. Scott Rintoul of the RCMP Drug and Organized Crime Awareness Service says that recently a North Vancouver youth told RCMP he knew he was getting pot that had crystal meth in it.
Crystal meth sells cheaply and can be made from ingredients available at local drug and hardware stores. It causes serious health problems, including psychosis that follows a user's going days without sleep.
To air the menace of crystal meth, the solicitor-general's office is sponsoring a series of public forums. The last will be held in Prince George on Feb. 2 at the University of Northern B.C.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Already been raised but, weed should never be laced with meth. SWIM can get weed much much cheaper per gram, heroin or EVEN speed is uneconomical. Drug Dealers are all about money, but there is always new customers so they don't need to lace the weed with anything, this is as stupid as the story of people giving LSD in candy to kids and them dying from it. The only thing people add to weed is water (SWIM hates people who do this) and hydro has lots of chemicals to make it grow faster. (SWIM has come across weed with only 6 weeks growing time).
Think about it, why would you add something thats in triple digits to something thats barely in double digits, then sell it as the cheaper item...its ludicrous.
Plus if it was laced with meth, swim wouldn't get stoned. No matter how much swim smokes, swim can only just barely get the stoned feeling if swim has any sort of speed in his system. Its an almost pointless combination, swim can see how rumours like this may come about but thats all they are; rumours.

Reads like typical media scaremongering.
There is no reason weed would ever be laced with meth. If not purely for the economic reason there are huge markets for both drugs.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Every time I hear a rumour like this - I just ask one question - Why? Why on earth would a weed dealer lace his weed with something else that just decreases his profits.
Noone seems to be able to answer that and for that reason I don't think it is nearly as prevalent as some would have you believe.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
This is so retarded people keep arguing that weed is not being laced with meth but IT IS! the people that produce meth make it for very cheap these dealers have stockpiles of meth and for them a gram costs something like $10 to make. In B.C. this is happening it may not be happening where SWIY lives but it is happening where SWIM lives. Meth is seriously addictive and they are adding it to weed to get kids hooked. It may seem uneconimical but if a dealer has a kid buying weed off him everyday because hes addicted to the meth in it then that dealers makin money.
benzoylmethyl ecognine added 1 Minutes and 54 Seconds later...

It doesn't decrease his profits it increases his profits, he's got a whole bunch of people coming to him everyday because his customers are addicted to meth. The dealers up here produce such large quantities of meth they can afford to waste it on weed they make more money lacing weed and getting people addicted.
benzoylmethyl ecognine added 3 Minutes and 40 Seconds later...
Also it only takes about 10mg of meth to get you high so they would only need to be adding 40-50mg of meth to an 1/8 of weed that costs them like $1 of meth. so in reality there not putting xxx number of dollars into somehting thats only worth xx dollars. there putting x amount of meth into xx amount of weed

Fair enough, SWIM is from the UK and meth is non-existent here so these types of rumours are always attributed to other drugs which are certainly not as cheap.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Swim has never seen the likes of that on the east cost of canada. And there is plenty of meth here. Swim ahs also read that article, and it states that patients who "CLAIM" to only use marijuana were found with meth in their system. Who's to say that these patients wern't using meth and just lying to the physicians. That particular article is the only one swim has ever found by the way with these types of allogations. Swim knows when he got caught with coke in his system by the doctor after claiming to only use marijuana, he lied through his teeth with the same claims, only portraying to cocaine laced pot. Just because a company writes an article doesnt mean its true. Swim is suprised, any drug user knows that this just doesn't make sense. Most of them drug dealers by the way who are selling small scale weed to kids Im sorry to say, are in no pocession of a meth lab to lace their grams and half bags of weed with. Anyone who is manufacturing meth, would not waste their time selling weed to "kids" or anyone else for that matter, all day long. Just take a minute and think about it. Does this not make sense to anybody else? Because it makes sense to swim.

you do realize that meth isn't physically addicting right? I'm not saying mental withdraw isn't a bitch(swim has been there and done that) but as long as swiy doesn't want to do it, they prolly won't. and meth isn't really all that cheap or easy to make...
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
In addition to all the other reasons people listed, this is incredibly unlikely as most anyone, even those who haven't used any amphetamines before in their life, would be able to tell that their bud was laced after smoking it. Aside from the acrid taste, the utter lack of cannabis effects would tip the person off, as the stimulating effects of meth essentially kill your chance of getting high, even in low doses. Hell, a certain panda used to use small doses of meth in the past for exactly that reason, to sober up after getting high when he needed to. People looking to chill out with weed probably wouldn't care to experience a meth high instead, and I doubt they would go back to the dealer to get more unless they actually wanted meth, in which case they would have gone to a meth dealer in the first place! I'm sorry, but this thread is just plain silly.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
OP is a 19 year old kid. What do you expect? Kids these days....lol
Seriously though, so dumb, meth doesn't work in a joint like coke does. It would probably burn wrong, taste like shit and before one got high they'd already be back at the dealer going WTF is this shit? Ridiculous story, absurd.
OP, your misinformed or very gullible.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Haha everyones assuming the dealer put the meth in the blunt. My old Buddy would lace the blunts without telling swim. Swim later quit smoking bud with him.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
This smacks of urban legend.
Turtle found NO reference to this in the DEA's Microgram or through the USDOJ and NDIC.
Turtle found references to this claim in Canadian media going back several years, and "alerts" on police websites (always small agencies- never metropolitan). None of these sources ever provided a single confirmed example, and on the contrary, seemed to go out of their way to state that they had no proof - it was just "word on the street" . Some cops even offered the caveat that it made absolutely no sense from a business point of view.
So until there is a substantial bust involving meth laced pot- this one heads to the shelves of urban legends.
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Swim thinks the Op has come to the realization that if 20 swimmers are saying he's probobly wrong, then he's probobly wrong. swim thinks he finally realized the logic behind this just doesn't make sense.
I noticed he hasn't replied. Were all the other swimmers too hard on him you think Some are just hard to convince.lol
Re: How to tell if your cannabis is laced with meth
Additionally, anyone who has ever smoked meth could tell you that it will burn upon contact with flame. A tweaker might just kick your ass for putting meth on top of the bud in your bowl, because it would be 100% destroyed by the flame.

Fuck that SWIM knows what hes smoking and he knows he has gotten laced cannabis before.
