Smoking - Tobacco smoking lessening nitrous's effects?

Snuffkin used to have quite visual and reasonably strong effects from nitrous when combined with alcohol and cannabis, and proper trips/loss of reality if ketamine or mdma had been used. However sadly he has not enjoyed these effects in a long time.

The only thing he can think of that has changed in this time is he is a little older, smokes cigarettes (however still infrequently - less than 5 most weeks). In addition to this a friend of Snuffkins who usually smokes alot of cigarettes on nights out was unable to on a recent occasion, following this nitrous was consumed by her and she had a very deep experience.

Snuffkin knows that different individuals get different strengths of "trips" from nitrous some individuals it seems never or only very rarely getting anything visual, Snuffkin is wondering if there is a correlation between the strength of trip and whether the user also smokes cigarettes.

Do any of those nitrous lovers who get very visual nitrous trips also smoke?
