LSD and Salvia - a word of warning
My pet lizard procured some LSD the other week and he and a reptilian friend dropped a tab each last Friday. He reported that it was pretty potent but gave a fantastic plateau-ing high, with all the effects one would expect from decent LSD.
The following night, he and some other of his lizard friends got some Salvia.
Whilst being an experienced recreational drug user of several substances, both on their own and in combinations (for example, he had a great previous experience whilst candy-flipping), he has told me that he won't do the combination in such close proxmity again... and perhaps never use Salvia ever again.
Basically, the Salvia was 40x strength and his first toke gave a really mild effect (he said it was nice, but was expecting more of an intense yet short-lived high).
The 2nd hit contained a larger quantity than the first and sent him in into a fit of most enjoyable giggles and non-sensical verbal outbursts.
However, shortly after, an intense feeling of disembodiment and extreme discomfort overtook when he freaked out for a couple of minutes. Whilst gradually gaining awareness (as one would expect), throughout this period he genuinely thought he had caused permanent damage to his brain... this coming from an experienced drug user who manages to both enjoy the highs he has and still maintain a healthy degree of control.
Whilst not a neuroscientist, he wonders if the Salvia re-activated some residual acid that was in his system.
I'd first like to warn those people who have pets lizards who use these two drugs about not using them in in short periods of time, and to ask anyone else if their pets have experienced any similar experiences with these two sustances.
Finally, he tells me that he's learned a valuable lesson!
