Oxycontin - little euphoria?
SWIM recently managed to get hold of 80mg Oxycontin, pretty much his first real opiate.
He took off the green, slow release shell, as everyone he spoke to said this was definately needed.
His first try was on Wednesday evening, he split the 80mg pill into 4 quaters and crushed 1 of those 4 up.
He racked the 20mg into 4 lines of 5mg. started off with 10mg, 5 up each nostril.
30 mins later, a bit disapointed with the effects, he had another 5mg, and ~50 minutes after that finished the last 5.
There were some nice effects, and just after snorting the last 5mg he started nodding really hard, couldnt keep his eyes open and felt really great just to close them and lay back in bed.
He was pretty pleased with this, likened it to a stronger form of GBL that didn't put you to sleep.
He didnt take any the next day, but the day after that (tonight), he decided to have another 1/4
This time he snorted ~15mg straight out, and finished the other 5mg maybe 30 mins later.
He felt ok, generally pretty chilled out and would have little patches of maybe 5 minutes where he would nod pretty hard (getting ever-so slightly heavier now, maybe 3 hours later), but it was nowhere near as strong as the other night.
SWIM's main question;
From all the hype this stuff gets, SWIM was expecting to be melting into his bed, huge grin on his face, is it just that he needs to take more? maybe take it orally instead of nasally?
And also, does tollerance really build up that fast? Obviosly SWIM can't disclose how much he paid for an 80, but if he's going to need more than 1/4 at a time, it's pretty expensive...
