Important note regarding syringes (sticky?)
Hello.
Swim wants to inform people who are new (or not so new) to IV injections in general.
Swim has found two types of syringes, those with a small black vacuum seal, and those without.
Those with a seal will automatically register a vein when you hit it and draw a small amount of blood into the needle tip, they are very easy to manouver (draw back, push forward)
Those without a seal do NOT register unless you pull back on the syringe, and are alot harder to draw back/forward, this means it's very hard to check your hit mid way without moving out of the vein, and are generally a pain in the ass.
If anyone can explain in detail the differences, or why, then feel free, but Swim found this out today by blowing a shot with a good amount of quality amphets and is pissed!! So please note this and save yourself some pain.
Also, even without injecting, the syringes without the seal leave little bumps and seem to damage the vein for no reason. Swim cannot explain this but please, take his word.
Hope this helps some of you and saves you all some money/time/pain
Thanks!
