Dolphin's

Upon arriving in Amsterdam the Little Red Dinosaur and his Imaginary friend left their hotel and decided to get to know the area, without a map betwen either of them, after walking up the road for about 5 minutes their noses drew them to a wonderful smell, looking through the window they saw an array of vaporisers, and an ocean themed coffee shop, they decided exploring was over rated and walked up the steps to the sliding door for the first of many trips.

Dolphin's has a limited menu offering its own personal strain "White Dolphin" which was fairly potent and sold at 10 euros per gram, for the same price a gram of "Northern Lights" can be purchased which the Little Red Dinosaur personally found to be a more enjoyable strain.
Weaker strains such as Haze were 10 euros for between 1.3 and 1.5 grams.
Pre-rolled joints and blunts were available in an assortment of sizes all mixed with the house special, the cheapest at 6 euros, the most expensive at 8.

Space Cakes were utterly superb, costly at 7.50 each but the Little Red Dinosaur had one for his coach journey home and was pleasantly buzzed for practically the whole trip back to the UK, each one has 0.3g of moroccan hash and comes with an advice slip and a gummy dolphin.

All products sold come in eco-friendly paper bags with a dolphins sticker on the top, unfortunately the bags can split at the seams easily which can be highly frustrating when your pocket gets filled with very potent pot.

The lower floor offering tobacco smoking was a very pleasant place to sit and chill, with 4 semi-circle sofas with tables in the middle and the ash trays being regularly cleaned, 2 curved sofas for fewer people also occupy the floor, at the end of the two rows. The inclusion of a retro Ms Pacman machine in the corner was very welcome, however difficult to get onto the high score board. Next to the Ms Pacman machine was a vending machine with a few munchies priced between 1.20 and 2.20.

The top floor was more aimed at its variety of vaporisers, and the main counter, instead of sofas the majority of seating on this floor is aimed at stools, this floor was seldom busy apart from people buying products to smoke downstairs.

Dolphin's also has free Wifi, some patrons did sit there with their laptops out surfing the internet, however it did not work with a Nintendo DS.

Drinks like many coffee shops the Little Red Dinosaur visited were around 2 euros for small soft drinks or cups of coffee, the coffee wasn't the best but that's just one dinosaur's opinion.

Overall the Dinosaur would rate Dolphin's at a 4/5, its an enjoyable place to visit and he may return there some day, hopefully when his exchange rate is a bit more in his favour.
