Iboga for kicking and fighting. a summary of articles
Hi
a friend is "working" (or rather compiling and collecting) on iboga. he is also reading tons of books about it right now and is also experimenting with ibogaine HL as well as (good) root bark. this is the very first rough draft, I'd like to hear from you guys in what ways he should change it, improve it, add to it. he dont write much himself in it, its more a summary of articles and studies and other pieces of work, in the final version the citated sources will be correctly mentioned and the text will be a little more fluent, however, the basic scheme is there.. the structure might be changed and the table fo contents will be clickable (i hope) as well as better organized. He is not sure if he violates any copyrights, he probably is.. if so, please let him know, he might think about changing it what do you think? please dont add it to the filebase as it will be updated and finished in a month or so, after SWIMs next experiences and reading.. also going through the pubmed etc thingys from university access to check on new materials.. hopefully this "exotic" topic will nevertheless reveice the attention it deserves! edit: never finished it. available for download in this torrent file Here you can find a collection of Iboga/Ibogaine documentaries. Quite interesting. You need BitTorrent to download it, which is easily found and not hard to install/configure. The Download Link:IBOGA ebook and video collection about ibogaine (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5036448/IBOGA_ebook_and_video_collection_about_ibogaine) that's whats in it: Quote:
- if you do download it, please keep it seeding a bite (uploading to others who want it) or at best "forever", as this benefits everyone who is interested in this magic and very uncommon medicine. Last edited by 0utrider; 09-10-2009 at 23:21. Reason: chaning title |

Re: Iboga for kicking and fighting. a summary of articles
Skimming the article....
1) How come your friend writes in English, then switches to German now and then? 2) Pg. 11, prg. 2, ln. 1, "... is a thousands year old secret..." should read something like "...is thousands of years old..." or "...is a thousand year old..." etc. whichever is more correct. 3) The tone starts out very formal, then changes to quite informal. Should the tone be more consistent? Referring to Pg. 22, prg. 3, ln. ~7,8. "... a "must" for anyone who wants to risk understanding some pretty far out chemistry. Oh my, there are a lot of closely related alkaloids." 4) As far as copyrights go, whatever is not written in the own words of your friend must be in quotations, with either a citation following or an end note showing the source. I notice that some quotations are followed by citations, others are not. If he is summarizing certain articles, he must cite them at the end. If he is quoting them, the citation must follow at the end of the sentence. I stopped there, those are just some things to point out. In general, the article seems very thorough and well structured. I'd like to see the completed version, and am able to go through it in more detail if your friend would like. |

3. yea, that cause it comes from different sources 4. well yeah, thats what was planned, although the writing WILL be inconsistent in that way (everywhere there are not citations, the citation is the same as the one from the following article/part, will be changed later) these plain-formal issues wont be a problem, he was just too lazy for now, my question was more about the content.. |

It is indeed a very well detailed overview. A summary or abstract would be a good idea to include once it is complete. |

Looks like your friend has put a lot of work into this. I skimmed over it - will come back to it when I have more time. Looking good!
