Ritalin use -> Surplus of dopamine?

Swim knows that unlike amphetamines Ritalin does not increase the flow of dopamine in the brain instead it causes the dopamine receptors to soak in the dopamine for longer.

Does this mean that using Ritalin leaves you with a surplus of dopamine at the end of the day since you use your natural supplies slower than usual? Swim finds that he feels great and is in a good mindset in the mornings if he'd been taking Ritalin the night before. This usually lasts the whole day too these good effects only wear off a day or two after hes stopped taking Ritalin. He's always relaxed, clear minded, focused and has energy. When swim doesn't take Ritalin and is stone sober he's nowhere near as relaxed and clear minded. He usually has energy but has an urge to use his energy recklessly. The classical ADD symptoms.
