Alkalinizing Agents useful when Snorting?

I know when taking amphetamines orally most alkalinizing agents, such as Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) and TUMS (Calcium carbonate}, enhance the effects of amphetamines.

However what about when snorting Amphetamines and taking TUMS and/or Baking Soda orally? Would the effect only apply to the amount that drips down the back of SWIM's throat and makes it to SWIM's stomach, or would the amphetamine absorbed through the nose also be enhanced?
