Opinions - Herbal high energy drink - strange effect

Ok, Im guessing redbull isnt a subject usually talked about on here.. personally I think its disgusting stuff, and caffeine makes me jittery and actually tired. But I tried another so-called energy drink called Pussy (awful name) in a bar last night, and was knocked sideways. Very spacey, tingly and 'up'...

Most bizarre stuff. I just wondered.. do any of you have any knowledge of the herbs that are in it, and why it would have such an effect?

Its got Milk Thistle, Guarana, Siberian Ginseng, Sarsaparilla, Schizandra and Ginkgo Biloba in it. My friend ( a male) informs me that Schizandra is amongst other things, an aphrodisiac. Like yeah, ok. But - I did feel um... more friendly than usual im embarassed to admit!

Obviously ive googled the ingredients, but nothing of what ive read would account for the effects. Do certain herbs act differently in various combinations?
