Experiences - Literally Floored

A few weeks ago SWIM swallowed 3 pink E pills on an empty stomach. She felt the roll begin about half hour later, and it soon became very intense. SWIM was rolling hard (not harder than a couple of previous experiences) but was also noticing odd visuals, wood grain was morphing and very familiar faces looked different. SWIM has tried shrooms once but no other hallucinogens so this on it's own was still a very new thing.

However, the roll/trip quickly became overwhelming and SWIM sat down in a room with some friends, and one turned out the lights and began swinging glowsticks for everyone. SWIM found it to be too much to even watch the lights, and began to feel nauseous. She crawled out the door to the porch outside the room and felt better with silence, cool air and darkness. Still felt nauseous.

From the time SWIM sat down the first time, it was probably around 3 hours before she was able to stand on her own, and 1 or 2 before she could handle being upright even with assistance. The whole time, however, SWIM felt overwhelmed but still very content, for which she is thankful. It felt like a hard roll when you watch lights or listen to music or get a massage, all of those stimulations together (and more) when she was curled up on the ground with her eyes shut.

SWIM thinks she probably should have stuck with two pills... however is still confused as to the cause of the visuals. SWIMS boyfriend took 4 of the same pills a week or so before and thought they might be cut with Mescaline (boyfriend has had many many psychedelics) but wasn't sure. SWIM felt uncomfortable looking at her reflection in the mirror, but didn't have that problem when she had shrooms. Faces seemed to develop dark spots and morph around. SWIM was also fascinated by patterns in wood grain.

Finally, SWIM saw mild hallucinations for nearly 24 hours until she went to sleep, and felt the roll almost as long.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what may have cause the intensity and hallucinations from these pills? SWIM has had 2 1/2 pills at once before, never 3 before this. No one else seemed to be affected as strongly, although boyfriend has much higher tolerance and no one other than him and I took more than 2 at once.
