short course methadone detox

Thanks for the support SWIeveryone.
Today is day 4 and SWIM is doing well. A few cravings here and there but nothing extreme. SWIM is worrying that she likes the feeling from the methadone a bit too much. She likes the way she is always on a level. She has noticed that it makes her feel quite spaced in comparison to heroin. Sort of like daydreaming rather than a full nod. Also she can't stop eating. She feels hunger in her belly all the time! Also sleeping like a log every night.
She thinks maybe this has something to do with the crap quality of the gear she was using before the detox started.
SWIM is also proud that shes managed not to drink alcohol or take any other drugs (so far)

One question: Does any SWIone know how long it takes lumps to go away from injection sites?? SWIMs doctor said it was thrombosis. But not to worry cause its near the surface of the skin. Shes coming to the end of a course of antibiotics. The lumps have been there for about 2.5 weeks. They are a bit smaller and not sore anymore but man they look UGLY
