Snorting - Teva 40mg Oxycodone, A little trip report

So SWIM got a hold of his first oxy the other night, they were the 40mg Tevas with the time release gel coating. He preceded to suck on it about 4 or five times, just enough to get it wet. Then he would dry it off by rubbing it in between his fingers which removed all the yellow coating. After this he used a small cheese grater and filed the pill down into powder, this worked quite well until the last few bits. He then hit it with a credit card to get the very last of it finely ground up.

1/4th (10mg) was insufflated and then another 1/4th was swallowed. The taste was not unpleasant, on a 1-10, 10 being the worst, it was a 2. The burn from blowing was a 3 out of 10 and lasted only a minute or two. Clogging was very minimal and didn't bother SWIM too much.

As far as SWIMs tolerance, he has been a heavy, yet intermittent, user of DXM, Tramadol and Hydrocodone for the past three years. Morphine was used a month or so ago, 20mg IN which was a very pleasant experience, although the concomitant use of benzos, booze and bud may have skewed his experience. Opiate tolerance would probably be about Medium. SWIM just handles drugs well.

The onset was quick, yet very mild. He figured SWIMs compatriots would fare the worst, all being less experienced than him, however it turned out differently. SWIMs friends all took 20mg orally and had a blast, however SWIM ended up with a nasty gut ache from having no food prior to consumption. That said, the trip even with some cannabis was rather weak, lacking euphoria, and energy, whether walking or laying down.

By the end of the evening spent wandering the beach, SWIM finally got some food and popped a 50mg Promethazine. This helped with his stomach greatly, and brought the trip to a nice place, and gave a smooth ending to what was overall a lack luster night.

SWIM will give this dose one more go, perhaps with some DXM or Promethazine prior to help potentiate. Overall however he prefers the days when tramadol was a strong, uplifting high, that would leave him full of energy or tossing and turning all night in his comfy bed.
