Generic OC 80 (G 164)

Someone I know just got 6 of these, and was wondering if they can be snorted. He heard they may have an extra coating that turns to gel or something. Although the guy said it can still be snorted, but requires more coating to be taken off??? He doesn't really care, and will chew it (probably half of one), but would probably prefer blowing it. Anyone have any idea??
