Health - Human testing with a untested RC?

Grandma had a dream that she will soon be testing a compound that has no known human use,she understands that there will be risks invovled and wishes to minimise them. any ideas and suggestion would be great. have it from one of the leading experts that the estimated dose is 2-6mg but the largest human test ive heard of is 1.5-2mg Grandma was going to start with .5 to test for any interactions she might have,then in the next day or 2 try 1.5mgs then 2.0 5 days later then 2.5 5 more days later. What problems should be looked for? when should grandma stop increasing the dose? What ranges of BP/pulse would indicate a potential problem? The compound in question is ¨luciginol¨. Any and all advice would be nice she has noticed alot of people saying to be carefull with this one,is there some sort of red flag in it chemical structure? or is this an all around warning for untested substances?
