LSD Bust/Leonard Pickard/Life in prison-Question?

I am sure you all know about the LSD lab bust that took place a number of years ago in the missile silo in Kansas. It was reported that the US supply of LSD was cut dramatically by that action. I was interested in writting to Leonard Pickard, the chemist that is in prison for life. But when I search the federal inmate register his name has dissappeared. Is he OK? Does anyone know? The website that was dedicated to his release has not been updated for a couple of years. Did something happen to Leonard?
